James 3: A Story

Here’s a short film by Desiring God. Ever been guilty of it? I know the Prater household has (I’m thinking especially about two Sunday’s ago), and it usually starts with yours truly. And I’m the preacher who is supposed to be setting the example for my family and the church!!

So here’s a great resolution for this coming Sunday, the Lord’s Day for us all. Begin your day of service, kindness and patience at home. Set the Christlike tone with your family, and it’s bound to come easier outside the walls of your house.

“From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.” (James 3:10)
